Chapter Philanthropy and Service

In 1999, a special partnership was formed between Tri Delta and St.Jude. Since then, Tri Deltas has completed 5 fundraising commitments and St. Jude has truly become Tri Delta's heartbeat! Delta Iota has the honor to be able to join Tri Delta chapters across the country and St. Jude in the fight to end childhood cancer, raising _1,682,726____ since the beginning of the partnership! These fundraising commitments are all completed by the hard work of our members through various philanthropy events! Annual events at Delta Iota include 18 Holes for Hope, 15K in a day, Sincerely yours, and Delta House of Pancakes. It doesn’t stop there though! We brainstorm new ideas to raise funds for St. Jude each year! Some of our new events have included but are not limited to Paws for a Cause, Move for a Cure, Lucky to Love on St. Jude, and Sodas for St. Jude! We are eager to continue working with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and help Danny Thomas’ wish come true that “No Child Dies in the Dawn of Life”!
